I was thinking about buying a second Flat screen so i can double my work space while workin with producin software like fruity loops. I just recently found out this is possible and i have no clue what i requires to make it work. could anybody tell me what i would need besides 2 screens and how to set it up and if its hard to setup without having much computer knowledge?

obviously you need to screens, then you need a graphics card with 2 outputs to run both the screens, you're card may already have two outputs but check if not you'll have to upgrade this and apart from that, you're good to go, i presume you got a pc with windows on it ?
if so then you just go into the display preferences and its easy to set up through there it take no more than two minutes !

you dont need a graphics card with dual outputs, you can actually put in another video card. I think XP supports like 14 displays or something like that. A few questions, what OS, and is you current display adapter onboard or is it a card? You also should try and get as close to the same monitor as your current one.

If you're not much of a gamer and have an AGP slot on your board, find an old Matrox G450 Dual Head card.

It has the best display quality I've seen. They should be pretty cheap on Ebay, but they're VGA out only.
