I know what that is. The same thing happened to me. The problem is the samples is (WAV) is bogging down your cpu resouces and cause that skipping sound try and up grade your pc and you should be fine. or if you are using a lot of instruments with your sample, or the if your using a lot of EFFECTS turn them off until your going to export. I hope the info helped, or finally it could be your sound card (or sound card drivers)but very doubtful

Tone E is the closest to the solution in my opinion, If you have a wave file that breaking up, and your cpu can't handle it and upgrading is not a option right now, go to options and move your latency higher, this will decrease the sync time of anything midi that you are recording on the fly, if you don't use midi, you should be alright. Move your latency higher, but cpu performance will be slow, but you will also here your song without skipping.

options -> audio settings -> uncheck 'use hardware buffer' (this options increases the underuns' count which usually might cause severe clicks and pops).

Sometimes that happened to my samples, I would just shut off FL and go back in and it would be fine the next time.
