Yo has anyone mastered this?

What exactly is its function within your beat. Do you use to change the sound of whatever it is you have loaded in a channel.

Just looking for information on what its main uses can be or is it the same as the ADSR envelop controls?

If anyone has an example of how they use this drop it here.

Well, first thing you should do is press "F1" in FL and type in envelop in the Index section - you'll get some good reading. That being said, you can do many things with an envelope. One of the key uses for me is for "Attack" on a kick and snare. There's a dope Pete Marriott thread that you should search on making your own drums that's very good...

Sup Wiz,

I practically read the whole manual and the Pete Mariott thread and really gained some theoritical insight though am wondering specifically what the difference between that envelope control (specialised) and the one on the channel (not FX or genrator or whatever it is).

Also why you would use the specialised one and maybe an example within a track (i.e I use it for my bass kick to get that thud etc by tweaking etc it can also be used for etc)
