FL SAMPLE SPEED

Okay so here's my problem -
Whenever I set a sound to a higher note in the piano roll, it decides to speed up for some reason and it makes the sample sound weird going from regular tempo (lower note) to a higher tempo (higher note)
I don't know If im really explaining this right, but anyone who uses fruity loops might know what im talking about.
If somebody can help, thanks. If not, its all good. I'll figure it out somehow

This is normal with any sampler, what youre looking for is preserving pitch when transposing a phrase sample.
Look up the stretch (fit) function in the sample properties and a play with that.
