First PT LE MAC issue...

I have a legit version of PT8 LE 8.0.3.

And the shit just doesn't load up all the way....If it doesn't stop @ Xpand, it would stop @ the passcode....


I finally got passed the passcode. Now when I try to open a blank session it locks up again...

Not like my shit is old....Lol...

Really don't feel like calling Avid/Apple about this shit....

Anyone encounter the same issue, or have a way to rectify this crap?

You need to be at 8.0.4.

Yeah if your using win 7 especially your gonna need the latest one. I used to have problems but since doing the upgrade it is waaaaaay less frequent.

Just get that ( its a bitch to navigate the website) then you will have to reinstall PT and you should be good!

Wait you have a MAC... Its the same fix tho.

Yeah.....I had to get the 8.0.4 because of the version of snow leopard that I have has issues with the 8.0.3...Lol... Duh.

Wait for 9.1 or something, I never come across a new PT version that people didnt complain about till a update. Hold off.

I too am happy with how many plugins I can run at the same time and the number of trax I have going without a glitch , its a night and day thing from where I was at.

I gotta learn to make beats in PT as well, I was trippin lookin at the demo cdrom

hell yea, mac's are great... stable as fuck. I can run 5 instances of kore 2, 3-4 omnispheres(both in multitimbral mode), battery, kontakt and bunch of processors and never even have a glitch.

What mac u usin?
