Finding Acapella Tempo in Sonar

I'm currently using Sonar 5 and i was wonderin if there is a way for sonar to open up a file and find the tempo of it. Every time i want to do a remix, i have to cut up the verses, which makes it sound chopped up.

Are you talking about just dropping in the whole accapella in one piece? A quick way to fine out the songs tempo is to just chop one small loop from the song, maybe a bar or two, drop it into an audio track and right click on it and press groove-clip looping. Sonar automatically beatmaps it to master tempo. Now right click on the file and select properties and the middle tab will show you the files original tempo. From there you could use that tempo as a starting point but if you're dropping in the whole song without chopping it, you might lose the sync after a bit. If you have to, go the extra step and chop the sample.
