i've ran into so many f'in poblems with recording vocals in fl.. i seriosuly hate it. my problem is with my soundcard (soundblaster audigy 2) i think. Whenever i record I get 2 versions of myself.. there is nothing more frustrating for a rhymer who wants to perfect their recording skills. I've researched the fl forums to little avail

fuck yea... i watched this one video before and it didnt help... everytime i record over an instrumental what comes out is just another version of the intrumental... i think its because my soundcard is bad maybe...idk

is there really any benefit to recording in FL over say cubase or protools or something?

i redid it. there is no advantage. just people always wonder how. just showing that you dont really need anything other than fl. i use audition and sonar myself.
