Ever used any of the Sonic Refills?

As anybody used any of the '' Sonic Refills '' for reason that you can pick up?

If you have, what do you make of them are they much improve on the normal soundbanks, i've been thinking about going for the Gold pack which as 20 refills in total and would just like to hear other peoples feedback on them that have used 'em.

Yea I used em...They have sum great sounds in em but they will never sound like a hardware keyboard there not really rich enuff for me..but Overall they sound good and its good collection

That's ok, i'm just after them for more of a choice mainly as i need more Bells, Flutes, Guiters, Synth Leads, Bass to work with.

Have you got the whole collection or just a few?

I have all of em....They have exactly what ur looking for....But im tellin u they sound nowhere near a hardware keyboard, but they do sound nice enuff for a software collection

I have them as well, they have some good sounds but the stuff for gigastudio is better. And I would say the giga stuff is better than any keyboard sounds.

i got the orchestra and vocal, and i'm happy with just those two, pretty good as everyone else said

I got my hands on a bundle a while back and use alot of the bass sounds mostly. Isn't the company that puts these out a part of IK? Anyways, the gold pack will deffinately increase the number of sounds you have to play with.

I don't know which Reason you have 2.5 or 3.0. If you have 3.0 I recommend you get Vol. 6 for starters. It's called OMNISOUNDZ it gives you all the base instruments. You won't find all the base instruments in the sound bank that comes with Reason. Then I'd get vol. 13 WORLD PERCUSSION, vol. 15 FILM ORCHESTRA, and vol. 19 VOCAL TEXTURES. They have revamped all the SONIC REFILLS for 3.0 so you get some real good rich sounds programmed for the Combinator!

I'll check a few of the refills out seeing as though they have had quite good feedback from the different sites i've checked along with yours.

Is there any other refills that is worth having a look at? I'm mainly interested in producing westcoast tracks so any that has the usual sounds for be best for me. I'm not to sure if im interested in the '' Big Fish '' ones as i've heard that the sound quality on those are quite bad.

I like big fish audio sounds. If you want that west coast funk purchase OFF THE HOOK HIP-HOP WEST COAST. It comes on a dvd with about 2116 loops and sounds. I'm sure you'll like what you hear! Sonic Refills OMNISOUNDZ is a must, don't sleep on it! ONE!
