EPS16 Rack + MIDI keys

ill o.g.
Im usin the EPS16+ right now. I dont got expanded memory or SCSI yet (cuz the upgrade is $170+), so i got all my beats on floppys right now. And i got a space problem right now.

Im gettin real paranoid about losin my beats right now. Cuz if there was a fire id be runnin with my floppys instead of my keyboard (if i could run with that).

So im thikin since i got some money right now, i could get an EPS16+Rack and a cheap midi controller keyboard and sell or maybe keep my eps16 original. Because the rack comes with SCSI (so i can save all my shit on zip) and 6-Outs.

But i want to know, will i lose any features or anything if iswitch to the rack and controller setup?

I use the eps16 to i don,t save on them disk i save it in the computer or external harddrive
I record audio and midi
The best thing is to use the eps16 as a controler hook it up to a sound moduler that way you don't have to change and load all them dam disk
this is what i have
eps16 plus hook up to a motu fastlane midi to a sound moduler. sound moduler audio outs hook up to an 828 motu audio . 828 hook up to my imac computer firewall ,the record program i run is DP4.5
i also have and external harddrive to store my files on, so my computer can be free to just run the recording software program if you had a phone i could tell you how to do this

Im usin the EPS's sequencer and im tryin to know if i get rid of my EPS16 and use an EPS16rack and a midi controller, will i still be gettin all the same features or will i be losin somethin.

It dont really matter aanymore though, if i see one for a good price im probly gonna get it. And ill figure out then if it works like that or not.
