Emu and Audicity problems

With my stock soundcard, Audicity has no problems sampling from cpu, line in, ect.
But as soon as i install my Emu-0404 the whole drop down menu becomes inacessable.
Ive been threw all the audio options, and everything thats available sound card wise is selected.

Anybody got any ideas?

first DEACTIVATE your onboard stockcard soundcard in the bios menu.
then try latest driver for the emu and do a restart.
