You dont necessarily have to like the record your digging or e-digging for. You see here for example with El-P he hated most of his choices except for the one with the picture of some big booty bitches If im not mistaken? He had no clue what the record would sound like he liked it solely based on the cover art. Your diggin inspiration can come from anything; a title, if the album was released on a special date, types of instruments used throughout, cover or backpage art. Iv played around with everything from your usual soul to wacked out 1980 japanese vinyl that was warped into next year. lol. Basically im saying I dont necessarily like alot of the albums Iv dug up, but I LOVE the possible range of sounds that I have and can rip from them.
