E-mu 0404

Alright, before I ask... yes, I did my research and I didn't find answers to my question... Also, I'll write to E-MU if yall dont got the answer for me...

OK, now that I got the newb haters off my back... (j/k)



I bought a EMU 0404 card, and I seem to have some difficulties with it...

Basically, I want to have 3 outs (2 headphonez and monitors) and 1 mic... The 1st day I tried the card, I plugged only 1 headphone (1 out in the Left OUT) and a mic (1 in in the Left IN) and the sound coming out the headphone and in the computer from the mic was stereo and all was good...

now, I plugged another set of headphones in the Left OUT and plugged my monitors to the right OUT.. and everything is mono (sounds coming from the left only)

Can someone tell me what to do?

lol, It dont work because you plugged it into a mono output. There's only one "mono" full pan output mostly left.

They didnt kick down a phone splitter for the headphone jack???....I got one with my 1820!?.......Thats what i do when i need to record with people - I pop my headphones into the splitter and then the vocalists into the other half on the splitter and thats it.....

oke, maybe not for the 0404 (depending on your setup, it becomes usefull with a console)
