Dual booting xp home with microsoft media center????

ok i'm selling a keyboard to an associate tomorrow, but the problem is his operating is microsoft media center which will not work with m-audio products at all. so what i want to know is....can we set his system up to dual boot....so when he wants the media center he can boot that up and when he wants to use just regular xp he can to use the keyboard and make beats?

If so how do i go about settintg this up??

why the hell m-audio products dont work with media center? i thought media center is like XP version plus additional progz/features.not sure but i think it should work with media center do u have tried it?

nah it says it there on the website and sweetwater.com has a list that says virtually nothing works with the media center yet.

I'm heated now too, cause dude is reconsidering....and i need my money lol

well if ther are more OS installed in one machine then one, then most boot menus must give u the opurtunity to choose wich one to start with.good luck.

lol media center SUCKS...(j/k) it dont really suck but its really ment for video which its really excellent for what its made for.... i wouldnt use it...

umm? Do you know that media center is just a program that runs on top of xp. Thats all. And its and entertainment center music/video/photo/online content thing.

if you dont like media center, dont click on it to launch it. Thats all other than that it is %100 windows XP. It is no different that minesweeper, it is simply another bundled program. thats it.

I CANT WAIT TILL WINDOWS VISTA COMES OUT...... HMMMMM THE BETA VERSION IS SEXY.........

you have to admit though the gui is sexy.....

i prefer speed instead of great grafiks for no reason SLOWING DOWN MY COMP ***** vista.

lol im talking about the regular user..... ya know? you could always disable the features and shit
