Drumkits for MPC2000xl,NYC

I go to NY in 9 days (1e time) and i wanna buy some good drumkits overthere,do some vinyl shopping etc.
i have seen the website of Cartel-Ent. and they have those nice and grimey drumkits in wav format. for qbase battery 2 thats the shit i like,or zipdisks for the MPC!

But its always usefull to have some nice drumkits, sometimes when i wanna make a beat it first takes 30 min. for finding some nice drums to sample..(part of the J.O.B) its all good!

People from NYC inhere or peepz who has been there, PLEASE help me out where to go,where to shop for that goodie goodie stuff...

u can hit me up fam go to Rock n Soul in manhattan itz the best vinyl spot u can find anything vinyl u want there...............all the DJz go there

I stay at 30 east 30 th street near the empire!

shit to sample from and new albumz of mc's maybe i never heard off,and i always searchin for some hiphop classics from the '90's

yeah stay out of the shops ... they charge way to much..... and if u do go to the shop ,, dont go in manhattan ... ive seen records at brooklyn shops for like $5 and the same record in one of the manhattan village shops for like $40 for real .... Rock & soul is ok and there prices are pretty good and they sell reprints which is kinda cool if u want a nice clean sounding record not all dusty , .... but they dont really have any really rare stuff .. which is what i like.. but if you are just in town for a limited time then youd prolly do good hittin up some of the classic nyc spots like those mentioned above...

I be there 2 morrow 5pm and stay for 5 days,so i bring a empty suitcase with me and bring a full1 back!
I try 2 see as much as possible in those days,i have subway card already

So 2morrow the customs gonna ask me if i want to commit a terrorist act in NY,and some more strange questions...itz all good,i come in peace!!! hahaha

Hey man,
Been buying vinyl in NYC for many years. If you really want to score the good deals, you gotta get out of NYC, all the used vinyl is picked through pretty hard here.
But since you're here to check it out, the best bet is Rock n Soul, it's on 7th Ave between 36th and 37th. While you're over there there's a guy namned Eddie over at SampleStore, that's 242 W. 30th b/w 7th and 8th ave, he's got all kinds of zip disks, cd roms, etc. Finally, go to the Comix store on 33rd betwen 5th and 6th (Jack Hanley's universe) pick up a free copy of the Voice/Onion/NY Press, these free papers have listings for all of the good parties of the week, new issues come out every Wednesday. You should buy some Simpson's TShirts too.
Ash is right, hit up Beat Street in Brooklyn on the Fulton Mall, they have more classic hip hop on vinyl than anyplace I've ever been too. Take the A train to the Jay Street stop, walk outside and you'll be three blocks away. Dope spot.

today i was in Rock n Soul they got some nice shit overthere,and about the sample store i was there but Eddie was outta town.
The store was open but that men inside was not a salesman so he sell me nada,what a prick if ya dont wanna make $ then close ya Fking store...my feet hurt and 2morrow iam gone back home.
I was at a other store for drumkits and some chinees lady told me that the store is closed for a few months so it was not my lucky day,but NYC is da best for shopping!!!!
