Kirk man... you had to do em like that...I dont think the young head knew... but hey. I agree w/ you... What's $10 for all that wrk that goes into the kits... I know personally I dont have time to be digging in the crates for drums and what not... and you can ask any staff member... I have tons of records...and also " How about on people who buy a specific keyboard for its sounds.." ie: Triton is the main one...and in HipHop you have to support the community, if you dont your days are over before they even start...look at ie: Puffy [P.Diddy runs the city], LL [FREE concerts in Rockafell Plaza]and others....

Become the Roots, inorder to feed the little leaves....

MAN I FEEL YOU AL DONT GET ME WRONG! im sayin if your gonna call it yours shouldnt it be that? where the hell is hip hop now because of this kind of thinking?
dont fall short of being a producer to "save some time" im not here to argue with any grown man, and i wont put you down for making music "your way" either just wanna open your eyes! we need to take hip hop back!!! puffy and LL make good dough, but where is their soul in the hip hop game of life? do they qualify for being in an illmuzik

i love makin music! even if im at my studio for 10 hours makin drums, the end result is not cash, i dont care about money...... but yo my drums will be 100 times hotter than the sound disk your still waitin for in the mail... and i created my shtufs!!!! i dont care how much you bend a spoon it will always be a spoon, mabye a bent up spoon that dont have much use anymore but nonetheless still a spoon..... ya read me?

dont take this as a direct shot to all you pc music makers, i got no problem with that.. but dont you feel like alot of the reason music and pc programs sound the same on the drums? it all just sounds like clicks and and thuds to me, i can tell the difference, it sounds way to much like some computer noise to me.........im not tryin to offend anyone! this is just one mans opinion!

^ I disagree. Clicks & thuds? sound files are sound files.. Regardless of what format they're in.

& Regarding LL & puffy etc.. Why dont you mention preemo? Pete Rock? etc.. Do you think these cats don't buy sounds?

You're limiting your arsenal In the name of keeping Hip Hop culture pure.. I think a better use of your efforts would be putting out dope music..

I say make your own sounds and use samples as well the more variations and musical styles I can incorporate the better. I use some drums from sample cd's I use some from my favorite rock records or reggae or hip hop. I make others myself. It all just depends on my mood, and the song. If you have the time and equiptment to make your own drums fatsdowrong more power to ya, but just becuase someone cant afford anything more than fruity loops dont mean they dont know anythihg about hip hop music.

yo my man dont take offence cuz i dont like your disks, you make your money and more power to u but im entitled to my opinion right? i think you are taking these disks sales by storm and the sounds are weak!!!!!!! i just dont understand why a (producer) would by someone elses already produced drumz....... that ish dont set right with me.....
believe me i would love to trade shoes wit you and make money off of cats buyin my drums, but then what? how far does it go? will they sell their souls for some bread too? i heard the bangin beats disk my cousin bought from you years ago for the eps they were garbage!!!!!!!!! i dont like em, you and every one else could love em but i cant change how i feel..

this has nothing to do with a knowledge of hip hop
and everything to do with my opinion on sound disks versus sampling.....
we cant all have full blown studios but dont just use that as the excuse, i know cats that are bankrupt and dont eat with more machines than me.......

1st of all, don't get it twisted.. I have nothing against sampling. Its all I do.. lol.. 2ndly, If your cousin has Bangin-Beats.com sounds for an eps.. Someone pulled a fast one on him.. Cuz I don't sell sounds for the eps. Never even owned one.

3rdly.. If you think heavyweights aint using Bangin-Beats.com.. Ask around. Preemo got disks in person when he judged a beat battle I sponsored at cbgb's.

hey fats whats the diff if u sample a drum or he samples a drum for u? either way u didn't "create" the drum sound. and u can tweak it a thousand diff ways, and its what u do with a sample that counts.
