The problem is that i use cubase and im familliar with it, im trying to find something to chop my samples put them in the pads and play them nothing else nothing more...
definitely start with the free ones. ;)

Peace!

Edit:

They updated Battery not long ago and it is just fantastic. I use it all the time. Check out the update https://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/drums/battery-4/new-in-battery-4/

As far as the OPs question why not use what you already have in Cubase? Cubase comes with groove agent http://www.steinberg.net/en/products/vst/groove_agent/why_groove_agent.html and it is awesome. And cubase is just such a great editor.
When i tried grabbing my chops from the editor to grove agent one it just would drop them and it doesnt work maybe it is because ive cracked it but i really need something to use right now and battery seems good enough
Well I think it was Battery I used years ago when I had the Akai MPD controller. There was also https://www.fxpansion.com/products/bfd3/ that I used but I wasn't crazy about it. Battery should do the trick though. Check the search page too https://www.illmuzik.com/search/?type=post, there's some good results for Battery.
Thnx brotha that actually helped :D
