Afrique, you wrote the address to your ftp... ;)

I think the effect your referring to is simply the pitch bender you'll see on most keyboards.

yeah, you can record the pitch bend into your song whilst playing, or draw it in in the sequencer...

it's probably hard to record it, without having an actual external pitch bend...how about drawing it...can't remember how it's done in the sequencer, apart from the fact that it's around the same place where the velocity is shown.
It's hard to tell from your snippet, but it sounds like the bass goes down for the first approx. 1/3 of the bas lenght and then quickly up...

errm da pitch bend aint workin as i thought it wud, its bound by a few notes, it doesnt reach dat high, i hav to draw it in the matrix but the accuracy only goes to 64, i need higher for the effect, cuz i can do it using the mouse to scroll up den down da keys in da matrix

umm, all you have to do is play another key with less velocity, on my moog it has a 'glide' function to automatically pitch bend notes more smoothly into eachother. you can also set the pitchbend wheel to be less responsive in most programs to emulate playing a diff key or switching octave's
