yea good points i also think if i had snoop dogg round my house a lot of my shit beats could be made ten times better by having him on it ! chances are no-one ever heard the beat on its own they only ever heard it as a finished package with snoop on it, its a shame a lot of us rarely have the chance to present the finished product !

Also, I think the hiss sound is a spray can (at least that's what I would think from watching the video).

I think it's a good song for the club or cruising.

Im not into the whole, no melody thing. Or the "clucking" that I guess is sort of a melody but really just a piece of crap. It's a cool idea to use a spray can sample, but doesn't really work for me in the song. I think Snoop manages to save it from being a complete peice of crap with some good spit in the hook, but other than that, Im not really feeling this song at all.

I don't think this is the best of songs either but as I mentioned, good for clubs and perhaps cruising. However, from a commercial view, I see the geniality of this song. The beat is very simple, strong clap snare. Snoop holds a melody in his flow, laid back, and the chorus is simple and easy to get stuck to your mind, and something many will probably go around repeating. The spraycan effects make a subject of conversation and everybody and their mama, who heard and like the song, will probably be going around making those mouth effects within a couple of months...and the dollars will flow into Star Trak and Snoop's bank accounts, as well as the label's accounts, which is what is expected of them.

im sure that rappers have some time to chill in studios.... and maybe they are having fun doing some freestyles.... and maybe that is the way producers are coming up with ideas like Snoop/pharell. The beat may be sample, but they know how to make people like it easily. So simple.
