i dont get cocky alot but heres the story...

we was debatin about makin beats when your high one day. and i was sayin i dont like to do shit like that when im high, my boi was like nah man you need to try dat, i was holdin strong sayin NO...so i got high. and he sent me a song he wanted me to sample for his first single. and it was Dramatics- in the rain. (for those that dont know, im new school. the first time i heard this song was this day a couple months ago (February 2004) when he sent it to me) so im like DAMN THIS SHIT IS HOT. and i was already high...and to make a long story short i killed da beat. ON FRUITY LOOPS. HAD THE TRITON SITTIN RIGHT THERE BUT I SAID NA, IMA KILL DIS HO WITH FRUITY LOOPS.

AND ILL PUT DIS SHIT UP AGAINST ANYONE ELSES..

WHAT YALL SAY? DRAMATICS- IN THE RAIN COMPETITION. THE ONLY REASON I SAID THIS IS BECUASE THIS IS THE 7TH TIME I RAN INTO A BEAT WITH THAT SAMPLE IN 2 DAYS. SO EVERYONE MUST HAVE ONE ALREADY...SO LETS DO IT. THE WEED AUTOMATICLY PUT MY BEAT IN A HIGH RANK. ITS GONNA BE HARD TO FUCK WITH...

if you sampled it then put it up, if not then you can just chill unless you feel like samplin it. i wasnt sayin that everyone should sample the song. i was just sayin that i ran into the sample about 7 times in 2 days so im figurin that alot of ppl have a beat with it. so im sayin every0one put they beat up and lets see whos is the hottest. and if you feel llike samplin it then go a head.

I can respect what ypu tryin to do, but it sounds like a waste of time. Someone just has too much time on their hands if they compete by sampling the same track. come on people, if you serious bout producin, you'll put your time into gettin connections and making beats to help get your name out there, not to see who can sample the same track the best

j malice is very serious about producing. you guys kill me with your little rules sometimes... "if you are a real producer, you wouldnt/wouldnt use/do (insert here...)" just because you dont see the value in something, that doesnt mean anything. dude was on the radio a few days ago. can you say that?

as far as the idea... well, it isnt the most exciting/original tome, but hey, count me in i guess.. can you provide me a link to the song? we will just post the actual tracks in the showcase as opposed to making it a competition....... it just doesnt sem worth a whole competition.

sounds like you got connections out da ass? you missin the point cuz, you should read my post again. im said that i thought it was a comonly sampled song, so i was figurin that alot of people had a beat sampled with it, and all you had to do was post the beat. i didnt make a beat for it...i already had a beat sampled from the song. but i was sayin that if you didnt sample the song you COULD SAMPLE THE SONG and post it IF YOU WANT TO, but i was figurin there was enough ppl that had it sampled already.

on a side note man dont tell me bout bein serious, im doin wut i gotta do to get my connections up and get my bread up. one reason im good at what i do is because music is fun to me. so let me do what i wana do and you can watch from the sidelines or get in the game. dont matta to me.

and thanx truth, ppl always come with some guidelines to what a real producer is. either way if you interested you can get the song from my page.

and thanx beserk so there is someone out there who has sampled this song. i just heard it a couple months ago and i hopped on it with the quickness. i heard RZA did it too but his wasnt all dat. thats what i heard.
