there was this magazine article on scott storch one time and it had a picture of him in his studio i believe, the amount of hardware he had was jsut insane......dude really is a sick beatmaker

good point about that "its not what you use", my friend uses FL and i gota say, lol the sounds that come with it are doodoo compared to reason's presets. lol also that thing about a simple ass beat and lots of co-producers, ive always wondered the same thing. but when you think about it, say if a track has 5 tracks, then we could have : drums programming-producer 1, guitars-producer 2, keys-producer 3, strings-producer 4, arranging-coproducer1, effects-producer 5 etc... and the list goes on

Or maybe, Dre just feels like he's worked his way up to put himself in the position to do what Puffy does......hire a bunch of producers to work for him, let them make the beat, then he comes along at the end and cosigns everything and makes a few changes here and there. But still, Dre is a great producer.

^^^ hm not sure about that one.. but i do remember hm being on Freestyle friday playin a track from Fl and a track frm his triton...

And that whole thing about DRE hiring people to play instruments and make beats aint a bad idea ..he's a Producer.. not just a beat maker.. plus when u in the industry man things go Fast...fuck sittin around makin 3 beats a day when i can have a production team cuttin 10 or more a day thats More product to toss to the artist.. and once they see u can cut DECENT WORK consistantly u get more work.. they dont care if u got the best beats and u only make 2 a Week the guy thats More consistant with Decent Tracks QUALITY SOUND will get more work...
