Does Anyone Else Do This?

When I'm looking for a sample i listen to the whole song. Some people I know just listen to the intro of the song. As soon as I hear the sample I want, I jump up, literally, out of my chair and immediatley start pounding it out on my mpc. Does anyone else get as excited as I do?

I get amped when i find somethin dope. I got a punchin bag right there and i start poundin the shit when i know i got somethin big. I just gotta get some of that energy out. I know what you mean though.

I get goosebumps and start a drum beat in fruity and fuck with the Turntable and fl... But lately I have been samplling the littlest things and fuckin with the pitch or sampling like a 3 note piece and then sampling thje same 3 note peice at the lower octave... Put them together and u get a good outcome... For the most part though I switch my style up everytime I hear a dope sample, i treat each ill sample differently...

i got to the point where i dont really have to listen to the whole song. i skim thru it most of the time. and when i find somethin' i get a overload of ideas n' i have to finish it by any means necessary. No food, no tv, no telephone, no human interaction.

I be so deep into makin' a banga its hard for me to even get up n' take a piss until im content with at least 2 beats.

So when i force or just goto make a sampled beats - i sit leaning on the desk waiting for breaks in the song - and usually not the intro or bridge - i mean some nice chops else where.
