Cool, I'm gonna download it tonight when I get home. I think the scratcher can be a great production tool. (Just gotta know the tricks).

Is this similar to the Spyro dude's setup? I tried it before I had a midi and I couldn't get it too work. BTW with your setup can you record your scratches or is it for live scratching only?

Its like a lighter form of spyro's setup

but without the extra plug-ins. So if someone had just gotten FL and downloaded this, they can use it "out-the-box" (like a Mac. lol).

You can record
it gonna record in the PR for the EnvController
and in Automations (Postions, Holds, ect.) for the actual scratcher.

or you could pat yourself on the back and create it on your own, from this guy's tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/profile_videos?user=flscratcher

I just can't get with the mouse scratcher for some reason (my two left hands). I've been thinking about getting a "CD" scratcher or one that will scratch mp3's, etc.

Word Wizdom, but have you seen the videos of that Spyro dude?

The shits kinda inspiring. It's ridiculous in the traditional sense of djing. Very ridiculous, but this could be a great production tool! lol. I'm not that great, but I've accomplished some dope scratches with this funny little gadget.

Hell yea, I seen those. Thats what got me into the fruity scrtacher in the first place.

oh and, Here is spyro with a setup almost exactly like the setup I use: http://www.youtube.com/profile_videos?user=Spyrofunk

Yea, It takes pratice, plus you gotta use the fader.
But, I use my graphics tablet. IMO, its better that way, especially since the tablet takes the entire screen resolution -- so no over scrolling off the pad :p. lol
Oh, I'd also look at some tradtional Scratching techniques, and tranlate those into FL.

BTW, these are just starter decks, using the upmost simplicity -- so, I'm still developing on this...
I'll post 'em up my site when I get tthe new domain. :D

I have one unfinshed song. lol
Thinking about doing a Table Manners mixtape, maybe once I get the techniques and everything down...

Okay, finally the family left me alone for an hour and this is my fruity scratcher demo. I would like to say this is done in real time but unfortunatley I had to do about 15 minutes worth of editing. The sound quality is dope IMO, but to nail a routine on the first try will require a small miracle. I added some reverb on it after I recorded the scratch. Oh yeah, I used my little oxygen 8 for the fader.
