Quik is the man. I've been enjoying his music ever since "Quick Is The Name". Plus on each of his albums he's got those "Quick's Groove" joints - very dope production.

Quik is dope as hell. That track he did for Truth Hurts feat. Rakim "Addictive" was sicker than AIDS when it first hit. That fool has always been nice with his production, no doubt.

Word, Quik has always been one of my favorite producers. He always seems to come with something different or something that raises the bar for other producers in this game. Now he is coming out with a new process called the ID Process which will enable you to "take great records from the past that you could never isolate a drum break from and be able to isolate those drums and still keep that drummer's feel as well as the bass player, guitar player, and the vocalist." Sounds sweet. Read more about it in his interview in Scratch Mag. The issue with Eminem on the cover.

yeh Quik did talk about computer-based producers in some interview, though im not sure how severe his attack was. u gotta let it slide coz he came from a time when computers werent even used that much, just straight MPCs, vinyl and synths.

i remember he got dissed to hell for that on a number of production forums.

anyway nice to see u all talkin bout Quik, keep em comin.
