I love this video because he speaks the truth. I like how he mentions about doing certain styles of music but some older artists aren't even doing it well.
The other thing that's good is he's always checking the new talent that's coming up because it's all a part of Hip Hop. And how he continues to do beats that his fans want - Boom Bap.
I mean, he said straight up that he just does his style of beats because that's just what he does, period. That's why it should never be about Boom Bap vs Trap or whatever style is hot today. There's always different styles, so just do you. If you're really good at making Trap beats and you enjoy it, then do it. Same goes for someone that just wants to sample all day long.
Unfortunately, money gets in the way, but that's a whole other conversation!
