Digidesign A/D Converters

Anyone know if the A/D converters are better in the Digi 002 Rack or the Mbox 2/Mbox 2 Pro?

I honestly don't know but I would think the 002 since its much more expensive,,, you can also give the 002 the black lion audio upgrade, it makes the sound quality like exactly 18 times better than the 003 or something

They are very close, why not get a 003?

haha, the idea behind black lion is that you can upgrade any audio cirquitry (and its true).

Yeah, I was thinking about using them to do a mod. Im gunna cop one of their preamps. Im looking for something with some more ins and outs than the mbox to track/stem my drums and sessions through (to a preamp +additional processing) to beef up the sound a little.

Pretty much not going with the 003 based on price... 002's in good condition are like $600+ on ebay and my buddy locally has got one for sale.
