Word. Thats how i do too. Im still selective for tha most part...I mean ill still sit down and listen to tha record to scan it for possible samples, but i never spends more than 5 dollars out tha bin for records....I figure tha ratio of how many samples ill actually get to tha amount of money im gonna spend is equal that way.

man i just get cheap ass shit, whatevr genre.. i remember one time i went in the thrifty shop i saw a huge shelves of records.. had to be like 400 or so records of various genres.. somebody had just donated it like the day before .. i go "hey my man ill give u 50 bucks right now and take all these shelves off ur hand.. he was like aight.. and that was that .. i stay outta official shops just go them real hood thrifty/salvation army type spots and see what they got .. they usually got some bum working at the register that dont give a fuc bout a record they just wnat to get them outta there and clear up space for the rest of the store..

shit actually i like sampling progressive rock ... some of that shit goes hard!

Like holmz i don't really go to the big stores there too overpriced and normally have the more mainstream stuff ! i go to the red cross/ salvo army type places u know and blag records from family and friends etc ! oh and i try to get to the car boot sales too ! Anywhere people don't really know or car about the records they are selling is a good palce to pick up bargains ! And i'll buy anything that cheap enuff that i think might have something useful on it i picked up 9 records yesterday for £9 about $15 i guess all from a charity shop, didnt get lucky this time but got a few bits and pieces off there, i got a star wars and other space themes records, and old tv themes record some brass and strings record, sum tijiuana stuff, and some other random stuff !
