Yes it's the on going saga: Me vs. Fruity loops:headbang:
I know I can't win, but still I try.
I will not give in to this Fruity Loop Mania.

How many of you guys are really using this program?

Do any of you guys use tracks created by the program in competition?

It's all in fun!:D

I use Fruityloops, I find it really easy to use. If I remember rightly one of the beat this comps was won with a fruityloops beat a while ago.

Fruity Loops is a blessed part of my setup.
The file browser makes finding sounds quick, VST support, and drag n drop to the steps.
Will play samples and soundfonts. Integrated into Cubase SX as a VST, so its like having a dope drum machine right into Cubase.

FruityLoops is a Godsend.
A lot of people knock it cuz its not 'compatible' with professional equipment aka MPC's and ADAT's. Well you know what?

I can make a dope ass beat, WITH a tight mix, in way less time that a cat with an MPC. Most people knockin it dont really know how to use it. :fuckyou:

Also most upcoming beatmakers cant really afford high end stuff.

So FL to me is like a big bootie.
I love it cuz I work it, and I work it cuz I love it.:D :D :D

yeah fruity loops is my ish for right now...I was using cool edit to try and make beats when I didn't know any better a few weeks ago but now All I use is fruity...it's easy and you can really crank up production using it...like last night I made 3 beats on the humble and started the beginnings of two others... I have a friend who has a MPC machine and it takes him like weeks to do one beat...Maybe he just doesn't know ohw to use it but until something better and easier to use comes along I have no problem with FL

I've only just moved to FruityLoops. Before I was using loads of random software (HammerHead, ReBirth, CoolEditPro, Cubase). I'm still getting yo grips with FL but I think that it's an excellent piece of kit with loads of potential. But like most things you gotta put the time in to learn the details to doing something truly cool with it!

Yes the Jury has weighed in

Imma tell you, I have had or still do have in my possession for production, yamaha Rs7k, yamaha motif, triton LE, Mpc2000, Emu mp7, Emu sp12, s950....all for hip hop production and a vestax table....these all are fun to produce on and make the hottest tracks I have sold or produced.......but I also used Sonar, Cakewalk pro audio, cubase.....with the grid sequencing and vst instruments.....all are cool......I have owned Fruity loops for like about 2 years and recently dabbled in this beast.....and then took an entire month and sat down with it......let me tell you you can make some bangin tracks with it......because you can load any sample in it....so it's actually based on technical specs if ran on a 2 gigahertz box with a gig of ram......superior to an mpc, or any of the keyboards I own for production and yes I am telling the truth I don't know about the studio version......but the only weakness that I can see in this product is the quantization is not as tweakable as with say a motif sequencer, or mpc......but overall I could do a cd with beats from all of my equipment and the mixes and tracks with Fruity are the ones that people seem to like most...but I don't make that many tracks with Fruity because I like the OL school way of bangin the pads and keys on my external equipment and then recording in protools.....I guess I like to work the hard way.....LOL

fruityloops is great as soon as you dump just about all the sound samples that come with it (though i just got the newest version,4.1,and its got a few good samples)i got about 3000 samples and sounds(mostly sounds)in my fruityloops and probably only kept 100 that acctually came with it,you just gotta dig deep and youll find sounds everywhere,i'm hoping to win the next beat contest:fuckyou:

I have said it before but the discussion still remains fruity loops is the badest drum machine ever.. the sounds that come with the programs suck..but it is comatible with all samples on your computer. I have heard sample tracks from a friend that are off the hook I have made some decent tracks on it myself that could stand on their own. but I heard it said everyone will use what they have faith in I am on the REASON tip. to me it blows everything away but I wont say that the drum machine is anywhere close to fl but I play drums by hand so it doesn't matter..he who masters fruity loops is a master..

fruity loops is tight as hell i think people just dont think of getting there own samples and fucking wit them cuz they aint very bright i guess but tha people who can use it would probably agree with me that its pretty sick, obviously aint better than a MPC and all that other lovely shit but if u aint got alot of moeny to be working with fruity loops is my deffinate choice in the way i produce my beats. Im Out Uno
