i would love to post a beat but i'm not on any website where i can upload the link so i'm not sure how i can put it in there,i do need to figure it out though so i can get in the contest,as for what homey said bout fruity loops being for the more advanced producer i'm not sure i agree with that,i think the man that can use hardware and software together, along with turntables and studio equiptment is the more advanced producer

why do people talk bad about fruityloops, because it has cheesy sounds?
fruityloops was originally designed to be a midi sequencer. the sounds they provide with it are just to get you started. Even if they were any good I would not want to use them. It´s like using synthesizer presets over and over.
i consider fruityloops to be a good SEQUENCER. i DON´T use any of its effects or instruments. You said you don´t use it because you use your own samples. Glad to hear that. You can do that with fruityloops. I only use my own samples and vsti plugins. Regard Fruity as a sequencer. You can get rid of all those sounds and plugins. I think ImageLine should release a sequencer edition, without the plugins, generators and sounds, but they haven´t done that so far. So don´t judge Fruity by the sounds it has, but by the things it can do, which I feel is more than most of you think. An MPC has no sounds, neither has an asr or sp so according to some people´s post they should really love hiphop ejay, because it comes with all kinds of nice sounds (that have been used by everybody and his mother :)
Don´t expect buying soft- or hardware and making heavy beats within 1 hour.

Oh and speaking of FL limiting your possibilities: I have been controlling two samplers (Akai S2000&CD3000) trhough fruityloops without any problems.

what's the beef? it's the same as anythng else, you put the sounds in and put them in the order you want them to be in. what you put in is what you get out. It's all about what drum samples you are using

ya fruity loops is dope. It makes it soo easy to do up quick loops and i have more creative mistakes that sound good on that program. but once i do the final mix i will have taken each drum sound and polished it and placed it into pro-tools, but still using my fruity loops track as a template.
