Desperate Need Of Bass!!

Yo alot of my beats are missing basslines. Or basslines that stand out and are noticeable. Alot of times ill just add bass to my kicks and let i ride like that or add a little bassline for the hook but it never stands out im thinking its because i dont have any good bass samples the ones i do have are from FL and the others just dont have that hip hop grimy sound to them. Can anyone tell me wheres a great source for getting some good bass and setting up some hot basslines?

Good Looking now where do i unzip these files to if i have FL?

When you unzip that shit put the .dll into your vst folder.
You can assign you vst folder in fruity, options-> file settings (see at the bottom).

i got some solid bass soundfonts from samplersounds.com......the sf pack they got is quality.....

In the "You Need Soundz?" board, there is one where somebody posted something like "xksamplepack" or something like that. I unzipped it and there were about 100 different bass sounds from some vintage keyboards and beatmachnes and whatever.
Do what you want, but i got those a while ago and there still lasting me a long time.

depends on what sort of bass sound you want if you want upright type bass samples like was common with alot of sample based music or hard synths or just a low buzz bass like 9th wonder uses nearly always. this is just a simple tone not fucked with at all listen to little brother

Basslines

A solid bassline is almost the one mosy important thing a good joint shoud have....the bass is normally what moves.....Try to play ur'e bass lines in a way that would make u bounce ur'e head even if its the only thing ur'e listening to...

Bass is one of the best things to mess with too cause you can process it lots without it sounding poor so try getting a sorta average bass sound then a hell load of overdrive effects, you can create some nice mangled basslines
