If you have not heard of this record label, I would encourage everyone to check out this label. The label puts out modern day funk/soul by some very talented singers and musicians. Everything is recorded in analog, and the music is incredible. So check out artists like Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, Lee Fields, and everyone else on the label and affiliated labels!

Definitely dope stuff, I just read a great article about the label head:

I had no idea they were behind so much of the Amy Winehouse album, so does that mean Mark Ronson is with DAP Tone?

I think it was more of a collaboration with Daptone, I did a quick search and Ronson doesn't seem to be a Dap regular. Still, it wouldn't surprise me if we saw more future collaborations.

I just ordered like 23 of the singles from the Daptone stable... can't wait to get em. I call it my second Christmas gift to myself.. haha.
