haha no doubt Ark! I'm with you on this as far as believability. I mean, if you had morphing abilities you should also know that if you were busted in a "superstitious" society, you would be slaughtered anyway. You got my point though, and it wasn't that this was a plausible story.

Our Universe is old enough that there are people much older than that.

They also say on the article that the people in that area believe in black magic or and shit? When I first read it, I thought this was going to be something about G.O.A.T. not actual fucking farm animals.
Man, people are gullible. Instead of the crazy-ass ideas of "shapeshifter-reptilians" run the world how about a more plausible explanation?
1. The police couldn't catch the other thief.
2. The guy that was running away might have connections with the cops in the area (through payoffs or as an informer.)
3. The cops know that the people in the area are stupid as fuck, because they are uneducated. They are inclined into believing "supernatural" things anyway.
4. The cops wanted to close the case.
5. The cops made a story, paid off an "eyewitness" to say shit to the press.
6. They blame it on a "scape" goat.
7. Foreign press thinks it's funny and post it in a "news of the weird" section.
Do you know how contemptibly CORRUPT Nigeria is? I really don't think you know. It's a failed state propped up by oil companies. Its population resorts to hustling as a national industry because they are given no education and the elites (not white people... they moved out a long time ago...) skim billions in oil revenue and route the cash to banks in Cyprus and Dubai to be laundered.

Shit, man. Look at stuff in a practical way. "Occam's Razor" helps a LOT with this bullshit. If you don't know what "Occam's Razor" is, it means the simple and most practical way of explaining shit is usually the correct one.
