cubase mixing tips

Ok guys i finally got my MPC to sync up with Cubase and i am tracking out my beats as we speak.

What next? yall got any suggestions or tutorials to cubase mastering tips.

I know this is a newb question but i did a search on the forums and really couldent find anything about mastering tips in cubase(forgive me if im wrong).

Anyway any tips or tidbits would be helpful

ozone plugin from izotope timeworks reverb vintage warmer for limiting and timeworkd eq for eq incredible plugins all of them timeworks compressor is very nice too. learn how to use a compressor and how to use an equalizer this is not simple read up on tutorials buy some textbooks. reverb is always a very important complex process that shouldn't just be applied unknowingly

expirement with compression and limiting!! you can make ur track alot louder and punchier if u do it right .. fuc around with the preset then tweak to your liking
