Yo! When I'm ready to let a beat out, the first thing I do is do a "PoorMan's Copyright". If your not up on that.... all it is is sending the meterial to yourself via the U.S. Postal Service. You Would send it with a " Conformation of Delivery" which is U sign for reveiving it. Every thing sent in the mail has a time & date marked where ever the postage is at. This is a Governmental Seal-of sorts! when U reveive the product back, "Don't Open It" put it away. If you ever need to sue someone for "Bittin' Your Shit", you would let the judge open it.

After you do that, you can download the copyright form "SR" (sound recording) and do it legitamatly, but at least you covered your ass!!!!

sorry fam but that hardly ever werks... besides the regular copyright form is 30-40 dollas per CD thats like a week's lunch money... its the sure way to do it.

that way does work but if u sue someone u not gonna get any money but they have to stop selling the song with ya beat on it and the official copyrirght is 30 but it takes like 9 months to get a respons back

30 BUCKS PER CD IS THE CHEAP WAY TO GO. DO THAT TO SAVE MONEY. PILE MULTIPLE TRACKS ON ONE CD.
