Well yesterday, afta months of lookin 4 a workstation, I ended up gettin the TR61.
The dude who sold it 2 me was a tight ass.
My dad hustled him until he lowered the price $500 (Was $2200 AUD, got it for $1650 AUD)
I luv this thing, its a beast. So many sounds I spent like 4 hrs just playin em, plus those combinations, oooooh weeee.
Then the sequencer, live recording, step editing, event editing, mixing, effects, its crazy.
Well if u been lookin at it, I recommend u get this beast, its amazing.

yo da tr is nice, i got 1. but wha im havi trouble wit is savin beats i make in the seq mode.
i use the media card but its kinda weird. do you gotta save each beat manually or is there a way 2 group em 2gether and save it under 1 name. cuz i lose some nice music when i don't save correctly. but beside that YEA ITS A BEAUT. NOW I KNO HOW P WILL. MADE THE GRINDIN BEAT 4 CLISPE

Each beat u make in the Sequencer has 2 be saved one by one.
Go MEDIA, then SAVE, then press F8 (UTILITY) then select SAVE FROM SEQ. Give the beat a name, and it will be saved.
The best thing 2 do is 2 make a folder called BEATS or sumthin, and save all ur work in there.
When u load, its a bit difficult. 1st u gotta select MEDIA then LOAD. Then for example, u got a beat called BEAT1.SNG, u gotta select it and press F6 (OPEN). It will open the .SNG file, and there will be 2 things in there.

0002 Sng NEW SONG

Select NEW SONG, press F8 and select Load Selected.
Anotha box will come up to select where u wanna load the song.
U can load 199 songs and work on em at the same time.

I got a triton. As far as I know there is no way to convert an .SNG to .WAV. What's the reasoning behind you wanting to do that? Maybe there is a better way I can tell you to do it...

The only way to do that is to actually sample the song you've created. I guess you're wanting to sample your sequences and chop them up is that correct?

Yeh a couple days ago I found out there is no way to convert .SNG to .WAV. The reason I wanted to do this is to create a beat on the TR, then to convert it to .WAV for mixing on my PC. Well I was thinkin bout gettin the Sampling Board, but instead I will get an audio interface, so I can directly record beats 2 my PC. I will just buy sum RAM for my TR so I can use my drum samples.
