i can see we have a "status+sales=skills" type dude in gavin cash... and that just isnt the case, sorry to say.
as for the premier argument... dude is nice and has a waiting line for beats. everyone oves him...
my beef with him is that for all his hip hop preaching, ala krs one, as far as keepin it true to hip hops foundation, he sure has worked with a lot cats that dont fit that mold.. snoop.. nore...lox...even limp bizkit... i never thought i would see a guy who sells himself out to himself....
but primo sure has plenty of times. his beats are always a lock though, you rarely hear a wack beat, but you havent exactly heard growth either.
rjd2.... now were talkin... this dude could teach the vets something. my current favorite...he is always on point, but doesnt have the longevity and consistantly extensive catalog to win this one from me....
consistancy... thats a joke to me nowadays.
i will hrow out jay dees name, however. his work is just as extensive as anyone elses and he has done pharcyde, tribe called quest, slum village, common, the roots, you name it.... i didnt like jaylib though. i liked twotracks, and they were among the best i heard last year.
