you know what the best learning tool is? Trial and error, there are no rules, no Know all answers, there is you and your tools. listen to whats going on out in the world, try to create those beats, listen to the elements with in and search the net for some good stuff to read. most of all enjoy it dont feel stressed if it dont just come off rip, this shit do take time. search this site alone, there is more info here then you can shake a stick at. hope i didnt offend and helped you out some.

Get the basics down first homie. For you (imo) that should be making beats. Making beats and actually producing are two diff't things although one eventually leads to the other. I would say to not worry about the dynamic side of things right now. Getting what you lay down to sound better will come in due time.

Stay focused on one level at a time so that you eventually understand each level completely. Trying to be a "jack of all trades but a master of non" when doing music is not fruitful in my opinion. It can easily lead you to giving this shit up....don't get distracted! Everybody wants things to jump off "yesterday" when they get in to this game. It just doesn't work like that, in making music or anything else in life. I've been where you are and know how you feel.....most here that have been at this for awhile can concur with my statements.

Damn dude, you've always got something dope to say. Appreciate it, thanks. I guess I'll just work on my tracks to start with then.

I need some good links where I can learn everything I need to know about music production all the effects etc., what they do and how to use them ...

I would not suggest trial and error. Learn by getting knowledge from someone who already knows...been there, done that. Get yourself a mentor of some sort. You can Google every effect and do enough reading about it/them to understand the common places they are used and why.

You must have something already or your first question would have been 'What should I use to make beats?' so the obvious advice is to start with/on what you already own. You can learn a lot from just the manual and the Help Files or whatever support exists for your tools including videos and books. Forums for that particular tool make a more cut to the chase approach for help with specifics.
