Conflicting Melody/sounds

I have a few beats done on reason that i know are good but the melody/sounds sometimes sound like they are in conflict with each other. Is there a way to fix this without deleting a sound.

thats a frequency u cant have 2 sounds in the same frequency its almost like they fight each other for that spot trying changin the freq of 1 of the sounds and learn about mixng and frequencies

Also Be sure that you are staying in key. That is a common problem.

as a matter of fact, someone posted a thread about how to transpose samples so that they dont conflict, try searching the forums King, If i can find the thread I'll post the link.

well for example if your playing melodies on a Cminor chord, all ur other instruments would have to be within that same scale at some octave.

for example, if my whole melody was just me tappin D# then my bassline would have to be D# too, just at a lower octave.
