Im bout to buy MXL 990 and i need to know what kind of cables run into condenser mics. is it the three prong thing or some other kind of connection. everytime i see a condenser mic i never see the bottom so i dont know. thanx.
condenser mics use XLR microphone connections. yeah i guess you can call it a three prong. keep in mind condenser mics need some sort of phantom power. Make sure you get a pre-amp. you can get one for 50-70 bucks.
