Computer Uses

I am not trying to start some kind of debate here but anyways I gotta question.

We all know that there are some producers here that uses pc for music recording and the other half uses a mac and thats cool........i respect that. And we all know that when recording music on th both (pc and mac) you will get the same exact result. So my question is for the mac users, when you first used a computer was it a mac and from then on you got custom to them?

Basically I started out with a PC and used macs every once in a while, the only thing it really comes down too, is the software and OS. Like personally I prefer Mac OS over Windows but I like cool edit pro, and fruity loops, which neither of them will run on Mac

I started with a Pc. But then I studied in design. I switch to mac at that time not because macs were better for design but because that's wath they had in my school. And now I prefer the OS. If windows get less shitty or if os x would work on a pc in the future (there were rumors about this since osx is base on unix), I would definitly consider reswitching...

WAIT.....WAIT......WAIT.....hold on a sec. Are you saying that there is a rumor saying that pc programs files will work on a mac???? LIke I can go out and buy a pc program and install it into a mac???

no that you can install mac os x on a pc...
but that just a rumor. apple won't do that because it would kill their hardware...

used pc first went to fullsail they only mess with macs... mainly...
from there got a mac ... loved it ever since...

from what i hear there are programs that convert mac to pc and vice versa..and if your looking to buy..unless it's all media production..pc is way more bang for the buck..with macs you have to buy all software..even a word processor!
