you should check out this page as well, this guy is a serious engineer (alot of wu tang stuff) and he gives loads of tips and tricks he uses, plus if you want you can email him yourself, he may hit you back.

thanks guys so should you wait until the mixdown process to even bother any compression or eqing ?
