Common's CD Is Not That Hot To Me

I listened to his new release today and I really didn't go for the production. It sounds like "juiced up" R&B. (except for "Corners") His lyrics are superb, though.
I think his best CD's were...

(1) "Ressurection"
(2) "Like Water..."
(3) "Can I Borrow A Dollar"

Those selections captured an ultimate hip hop vibe.

Now I know we all grow in some form or fashion and this is pure evidence of Common's growth, but I miss those earlier releases.

I was highly disappointed bwith Common's new release. I thought that being under the Kanye G.O.O.D. umbrella would've allowed him to explore creative avenues that have yet to be traveled. Sure it's better than Electric Circus but that's not sayin' much.

BE id dope i definately aint wack but it was somewhat of a dissapointment 2 me, i really expected more, but the cd is dope, as for best albums, ONE DAY IT WILL ALL MAKE SENSE is a really hot album its always under looked cuz of like water,but i think that 1 is best

im really loving that album.... as much as i did Like Water....... and it only grows on me more as the days go by ... songs like Faithful are fuckin beatiful... i cant wait for his concert in 2 months.
