Chopping techniques and tips

this is commen sense....just think about it, it is obvious.....

what is the most important factor here - keeping it in time, so think about this

I have to say some of my chopping is intentional but I chopp entire songs and start off with subdivisions of beat slices...then I sometimes increase it...I look for pieces to use and sample....clean bass, clean horns I use that I am not a person that really samples huge chunks I sample like putting together a puzzle...but if you are trying to sample like something that is hot where they take entire phrases of 3 and 4 bars or more...just do some listening and make notes on did they speed the sample or slow it....did they sample a chord change or transition...its all on you man!
