Sorry, but that's nothing special in my book. The style is nice but many others can do the same.

i agree that d-styles is nuts on the cut. "Hotsause In The Dick Hole" is a nice example of his cutting capabilities. I reckon he has better cuts than Q-bert in that track. never heard of excess or mike boogie.

i started out as a dj but lately ive been focusing on production. i love getting on the decks but i find producing a little more fullfilling overall because you can CREATE your own song.

how bout yourself?

(ill have to check this mike boogie dude)

Been Dj'ing for some time now, you know scratchin + mixin + juggling etc. I now just want to progress my dj'ing into the next level and make my own tracks. I'm getting really bored of cutting to other peoples beats, and i want to bring out my own break/scratch record.

(one day, hopefully!?) :)

Messenger, I haven't paid much attention to DJ's lately, I must admit, but I like a lot of Danish DJ's incl. DJ Noize (2 x world champ) and also DJ's like Qbert, Craze, Roc Raider etc...don't know many of the new ones within the last 3-4 years. My only really point was that what he did wasn't anything I hadn't heard before...it sound like any other Crab scratch...

True that Copenhagen, if you listen to alot of scratch music (like me) you'd know that file sounded good but was nothing amazing. DJ's nowadays are getting stagnant and alot don't scratch with nothing else but the "aaahhh" sample like the one used in that file

copenhagen......the dudes u listed are definitly nice on the cut. i like this guy because i thaught he DIDNT just have another crab scratch. his style seemed to be based more on flares. After listeing to him over again i DO agree though, its nothing SPECIAL....but still original

delay.....word about the overuse of "fresh" and "ahhh". those samples shoud be illegal nowadays. have you heard the Steve-D skit on "Turntables By The Bay Vol3" ?????? ....funny shit i tell ya.
