Celeron Processor And Pro Tools

WILL PRO TOOLS WORK WITH A INTEL CELERON PROCESSOR 2.0gHTZ

SORRY I FORGOT TO ASK, I DUNNO SHIT ABOUT COMPUTERS....SO WHEN PROTOOLS GIVES ME SPECS LIKE 400Mhtz DOES IT MEAN CLOCK SPEED...OR PROCESSOR SPEED....CAUSE MY CELERON SPEED IS 2.0Ghtz...BUT THE CLOCK SPEEED IS 400Mhtz

To my knowledge they mean processor speed. Also, look at specs on their site. I don't think Celeron is supported, but that doesn't mean it doesn't work.

Don't go through the misery of using the celeron with Pro Tools but for one thing what version of Pro Tools? In any case get good quality proven computer hardware such as Intel Pentium or AMD that will perform well with Audio applicatoins. I don't know if Pro Tools supports AMD processors but if so they are neck and neck with Pentiums for the most part, also depends on who you ask.
