These new products from Emu are by far the coolest things to come out in years:

These are the next line of samplers for sampler-gods Emu (the company who brought you the SP1200, Planet Phatt and Mo Phatt modules).
This is how it's broken down:
This is a system which includes the newest version of the Emu sampler (in software) and a soundcard with a bunch of ins and outs. The sampler itself is, to my knowledge, more powerful than any other softsampler out there:
36 modulation sources and destinations (patchcords)
50 filters
standalone or VSTi
integrated waveform editor
The soundcards look COOL, in some configurations there is even a RIAA preamp and ground so you can plug your turntables into it without having to go through a dj mixer...very cool for sampling. Oh yeah, REAL TIME HARDWARE DSP EFFECTS...you can use it as a mixer with effects!!
There are soundcard configurations to choose from:
1212m
comes with 1010 PCI card and 0202 I/O daughter card.
1820m
comes with AudioDock M interface, 1010 PCI card and Sync Daughter card.
But the BEST thing about all this is the price: the one with the smaller card is only $300, and the bigger one is $600.
