What's everyone use? Is there any that are considered the "best", and are most commonly used?

I just switched to them, they are cheap, unlimited webspace. Cant go wrong really.
They are the top rated webhost.

I use dot5hosting....most of them are all the same tho. Just make sure that whoever u go with supports the features your looking for, ie. PHP, MySQL, etc.....

I don't have anything sorted out lol, I just wanna get my domain name up before anyone else takes it. Im just gonna work on putting a dope ass under construction front page for the time being, the website probly wont be up for a month, I only learned html/xhtml/css within the past two days, so I don't have the whole thing down packed, just the basic syntax/etc.

I went on justhost.com, they had all these hidden fees that prompted me before check out so fuck that

godaddy is a pain in the ass

What are you looking for exactly? Ya if it's a small site then go with shared.

Ya you can upgrade plans no problem or just add a few things per month like an extra 5 gigs of space for example. They're really good with their clients and the support is pretty fast.

Always keep a backup of your website on your computer.
You never know when you might need it.

I use ixwebhosting ...... unlimited storage and bandwith ...... 6 domains ..... i pay 59 every 3 months .... have 2 people i made sites for and charge them 10 a month for updates and server space ..... so that covers the bill for me
