It seems like a decent amount of people are coming together on the idea of "another" horror theme... like you said... that was a year ago... allot of people werent around then, and just because it is something that you don't particularly like, does that really matter? i am sure that alot of people will be into it... and probably allot of people won't... but you know what i think about that, I am sure that every theme that comes up there are people that dig the idea and people that hate it... I am thinking we should bring the horror theme back again... and when we do, you can just wait for that one to be over as well... no harm done to anybody... just wait it out and let it dissapear just like I am sure alot of other people feel about some of the other themes that come up... we got to keep all genres goin on here... (nothing against you...)

How about a "1st beat you ever made" theme.........everyone had their first beat where the drum loop sucked, and the sample or melody was off, and the recording levels were shitty...lol.... but who had the best 1st beat. It would probably be hard to find the first track you did but im sure you all have some really early stuff you made. That would bring back alot of memories for people, and it will show how far everyone has come along since they started. I dont know, i think it would be dope.......

Tribal Theme

What about a tribal theme? Something that sounds like it didn't come from a modernized world.

I was gonna start a new thread, but this one was pretty close to the subject. I know I'm ressucitating a Thread that was off for a while, but I guess this could help the mods a bit... (not saying I'm against the No-Theme theme, but change is good...)

Since there isnt that much themes that can be thought up, we could suggest 'serious' themes that the mods could use for future "Beat this comps".
And it would be nice if we would have a lot, so...

The ideas I have?

- Of course, a "Restricted to the soundkit provided" Competition
- A latin, arab, asian, country theme (still hiphop, but with a different flav)
- a 5 instruments theme (restricted to ONLY 5 instruments/sample, including the parts of the drum)
