I had a similar idea where Fade names an artist and we can sample anything from that artist catalog or if you don't sample you can make something for that artist and use an accapella on it.

Yeah that first idea is interesting, would be up for that.

Instead of genres what about beats inspired by an album or a producer. Or Fade names an artist and we have to pretend we are producing for that artist. That's the real producer mindset.
Or just 90s R&B flip because I like that.

This would be great (though he'd probably curveball us by naming britney spears or something)

But especially if he names an artist who's been about a while as gives you a range of eras or styles you could focus on
