Once again unofficial themes reign supreme with the summertime jaunts
@tomkillsjerry destroyed it again
@NONONSENSEBEATS comes through with the heat
and @Brandon Brown and @FrunTheBoy with those trap beats made me a little excited might have to go back to the old sound for that show them how its done

Ya'll are SICK. We should really start just having strictly trap or strictly sampled beat battles because the level of both is just too hot, and it's hard to compare apples to oranges and which ones sweeter! Nice job ya'll.

@Brandon Brown - tight hypnotic trap beat. I always like repetitive melodies, def this beat is ready for the right storytelling rapper. You, @FrunTheBoy and @tomkillsjerry got the nicest trap beats this time around though all would need the right laid back rapper to jump on those laid back beats.

@huggyHG - I like the different sounds though the rhythm combined with the melody is out there and hard to catch which would be hard for a rapper but if you find the right rapper it be a good song.

@MattyJones it's nice to hear a different mixture of music as I often combine drum and bass and dubstep with hip hop, but if you compare your stuff to REAL drum and bass or dubstep none of the tricks they do and actual sound from those genres are actually there as the beat sounds like all presets, and if you want to learn check out Seamless' tuts he's a raw drum and bass and dubstep producer.

@Moaklee - nice beat almost has me thinking of some Eminem type of beat though the choir sound is kind of off, def better sounds would help out

Sounds like a good idea... A lot of the more laid back/chill sampled beats sound good, but for a battle with no theme I'm expecting to hear some bangers!! lol Those beats would be better suited for a themed battle, imo, where you're going up against other laid back beats that have a similar feel...

B/c it is really hard to compare apples to oranges... Unfortunately I pick apples over oranges 9 times outta 10... lol

Yeah I agree in a battle, like a DJ battle, you're looking for bangers all day! And you're right it's more of a themed battle to have a laid back beat, def Fade has that covered and has done it before

@DJ-PAR-K You played out those instruments yourself? If so nice job!! But its still a smooth laid back beat, which would work better in a battle with that kinda theme... Still a really nice beat though, just not suited for this type of battle imo. Dont feel bad, I've made this mistake before too!

That's always been the question with beat battles: should the beats be hype or just whatever? For me, as long as the beat is dope. Except if we're talking about Warzone or Battle That. Those two should be hype beats for the most part. A laid back beat could still win but it's hard when it's a "battle".

One could argue that it's like bringing a violin to a Braveheart battle.
