im not a beanie fan but he has an occasional gem ('what ya life like pt 2' being another) that just blows me away.

no, he is not th emost "lyrical" cat and yeah he seems like yet another dealer-turned-rapper, rap being his new crack to push, yada yada yada...

no, no metaphors, punchlines, nothing like that.

but this song is bannannas. yeah the beat is minimally produced and little more then a loop and some sparse drums.....

but good lawd is it effective. its perfect. great song, great feel, and it elicits great emotion. say what you will. its a great song.........

if beanie can't blow with this, he never will. this is the antithesis to "breathe" and i hope it blows the way breathe did.

yea i just got the song now its pretty kewl, it should get some mainstream play to a certain extent but its not crunk and not club music so he will have to settle for the lower half of the chart i would have thought ! lol

"breathe" and "why" werent crunk or club songs and both blew up huge, and this is in the exact same vien as those two. those two crossed over heavy into the pop market which accounted for their phenominal success. this *should* do something similar, and if xzibit ever actually releases "judgement day" as a single, that shuold follow suit and do the same thing.

yea theres a lot of controversy behind this song though. Heavy D did the beat and sold it to Beanie and Black Rob, the Black Rob version is fuckin nice too its called 'Permenant Scars' they both kill the beat, Beanies vid is nice too cause its got that crazy twist with Meth at the end

this song is fire....Definately a lot of emotion.....this to me is one of those classics, that probably wont blow up, but as far as hip hop heads go, its gonna be remembered.....Kinda like Renegade, only the other end of the spectrum...regardless, its fire....Beanie needed something like this to finally "Make It"
